BRENBOY

Portland’s rising Hip Hop artist, Brenboy releases his new single "Blueberry Pancakes" with major label SS Globel. Bridging the gap between Hip Hop fanatics' demand to hear technique and Portland's electronic obsession, Brenboy is dedicated to his bar-for-bar style, while keeping the crowd loose and entertained. Named after his new strain of weed, Blueberry Pancakes is a lighthearted hustler's anthem with playboy type verses and a catchy hook. With production duties handled by Pop/Rock producer Sean Berhamand, this powerhouse jam is an inside look into the perspective of an Oregon rapper navigating the music game, while keeping one foot in the game as an independent hustler.

Brenboy was born in Heidelberg, Germany and moved to the United States where he grew up in the green state of Oregon. After attending school for Sonic Arts in Portland, he became the Urban Music Director and Hip Hop Coordinator at 90.7 KBOO-FM, while hosting his own radio show ‘Rip City Basement’. In the past 3 years, he’s interviewed over 250 local and traveling artists on his radio show/podcast, and has put 150+ artists on stage for various showcases. After studying Music Marketing online at Berklee School of Music, Brenboy helped launch Inadot (a networking app for artists and creatives), taking his brand to the next level. There are now more than 2,000 members within the RCB community network, and Brenboy continues to grow this local audience while advancing into the commercial stream with his own music.
